Program and Construction Management Related to the Wastewater System Prioirty Projects
This is a $2.4 billion fifteen-year program intended to provide Project and Construction Management Services Related to the Wastewater System Priority Projects included in the WASD’s third Consent Decree with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP).
300 Engineering is leading the Wastewater Collection and Transmission System task (WCTS) for the program. The WCTS task is assisting the department with the coordination and management over ninety-three (93) Force Main and Pump Station Projects from conception to closure including: planning, design, permitting, procurement, construction, and certification phases.
In addition, the Consent Decree requires Miami-Dade County to improve their three (3) Wastewater Treatment Plants, North District, Central District and South District WWTPs. These plants combined flow is approximately 300 Million Gallons per day (MGD). The PMCM team is managing over 52 Projects within these to increase the WWTPs hydraulic capacity
300 Engineering is currently performing design reviews and design Cost estimate reviews, overseeing and supporting the early planning, design and construction phases of the projects, working closely with plant operators to coordinate the design and shutdown sequences to minimize interruptions to plants regular operations, among other activities.
