City of Opa-Locka Water Distribution Operations Assessment & Optimization
The City of Opa-Locka’s Water Distribution serves an area of approximately 3 square miles and has approximately 5,000 service connections. The City currently purchases water from the Miami-Dade Water & Sewer Department, hereinafter referred to as WASD, through three metering stations. The City of Opa-Locka is seeking assistance for an overall assessment of their current procedures and system, as well as advising to bring their operations into compliance with the FDEP and the Florida Department of Health (FDOH). 300 Engineering will perform data collection services on the City’s water system, evaluate the operation of the city’s water system, staff performance, and current procedures, preliminary water system operation assessment reports and more.
